Daffodils Fees and pricing Policy

Government Funded Hours  

Daffodil WLC, do accept the 30 hours childcare funded offer, and the tax-free childcare scheme. We do not accept Flying Start. We will update you as soon as these are services we offer and will amend the policy to reflect this change.  

 

Guarantee Availability 

We extend an on-call care service at a fixed rate, offering you peace of mind that your child can be promptly collected from school, if necessary, be it for appointments or other unforeseen circumstances (excluding sicknesses listed in the sickness policy). Our service operates at a half-day rate, guaranteeing our availability to attend to your child's needs during the specified session times. This means we stand ready to assist your child from Open until Close prepared to accommodate any requirements they may have. Drop offs and pick-ups are included in this rate. 

  

Please be aware that should your child return to our care before 1pm, the full-day rate will apply. This will be invoiced separately as a one-off payment. 

 

Deposit and Notice  

Unlike traditional deposits, we opt for a simplified approach. Prior to your child's enrolment, we kindly request full payment for the upcoming month's childcare services. This payment ensures a smooth start to your child's educational experience, typically commencing around the first of the month for easier invoicing and payment processing. 

  

Changes in Sessions 

One month's calendar notice is required for any changes in sessions or increasing sessions regularly. Term-time only children must give notice during term time. 

  

Emergency Sessions  

Emergency sessions may be available upon request, subject to availability. Charged at the Daily Rate and a Half. Payment and relevant paperwork must be made before the Child/ren are taken into our care. 

  

Session Interchangeability 

Sessions and days are not interchangeable. 

  

Invoicing 

To ensure seamless administrative processes, invoices are dispatched on the 22nd of each month, with settlement kindly requested by the last day of the month to secure your child's place for the following month. Timely payments are crucial to avoid any disruptions to your child's care. 

  

Our payment terms require monthly fees to be settled in advance before the start of the new monthly session. Invoices are conveniently sent via email and should be settled by the last day of the month to avoid any late charges. 

  

Late Payment  

Late payment of fees incurs a charge of £5 per day until the fees are paid. Daffodil WLC reserves the right to suspend your child's place until fees are settled. Fees accruing during suspension remain payable. 

  

Payment Method 

Payment can be made via online payment. 

  

Late Collection Charge 

For delays longer than 5 minutes after the allotted time, a charge of £1 per minute will be added to your invoice at the end of the month.

Full Fee 

  • Parent/child sickness  
  • Occasional days off (Days cancellation without 1 months' notice),  
  • Closure due to: Unforeseen circumstances 
  • Closure due to: Adverse weather conditions 

Half Fee 

  • Parent/child holiday (If we have been given minimum 1 months' notice).  
  • Retainer Fee 

No Fee 

  • Childminder sickness,  
  • Childminder holidays,  
  • Training days.  
  • Closure due to bank holidays. 

  

Half Terms and Summer Holidays 

Term time only children will continue to be invoiced monthly, charged for future sessions. 

 

For half-term or summer holiday club sessions, we kindly request advance payment to cover the Full Day Rate, encompassing all planned activities and outings. To facilitate smooth preparations and ensure your child's seamless participation, payment should be settled at least one week before the commencement of the entire period. This ensures that we can adequately plan and prepare for an enriching and enjoyable experience for your child during their time with us.  

 

Facepainting by Daffodil and Childcare for Events 

Invoices will be sent on day of booking.

A first payment of a 25% deposit must be made the day of booking. Any outstanding fee must be settled 1 month (4 weeks) before the date of the event. 

Last minute bookings, less than 4 weeks until the event, must be settled in full at time of booking.
