Help Make Childcare Accessible for Everyone

Support Daffodil Welsh Language Childcare!

At Daffodil Welsh Language Childcare, we believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing environment – no matter what their family is going through. That’s why we’ve launched our Pay It Forward Campaign, to provide free childcare to families in need, including those escaping domestic violence, seeking refuge, or facing financial hardship.

You can help us extend our vital services to those who need it most – local charities like Cyfannol Women’s Aid who help refuge seekers, and individuals in crisis. By donating, you’ll be directly helping cover the cost of a day of childcare, knowing that the children are well-fed, cared for, and safe, during what can be an incredibly stressful and difficult time for their families.

Why Your Support Matters

In Wales, 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Last year alone, there were over 21,000 incidents of domestic violence recorded in Wales. Many women and families facing domestic abuse have no access to childcare, making it harder for them to escape their situation or rebuild their lives.

In Monmouthshire, families face even greater barriers to affordable childcare, with many living in rural areas where services are scarce. This lack of access to childcare leaves parents unable to focus on the things that matter most – such as finding work, securing housing, or rebuilding their lives after trauma.

Your donation can make a real difference.

How You Can Help

- £20 – Covers the cost of one day of childcare for a family in need.
- £50 – Covers two and a half days of care for a child in crisis.
- £100 – Covers five days of childcare, allowing a parent to attend essential appointments, look for housing, or access support services.
- £250 – Covers one month of childcare for a family escaping domestic violence or a personal crisis.

Every donation helps provide safe, quality childcare for families who need it most.

Domestic Violence and Childcare in Wales

- 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime.
- Over 21,000 incidents of domestic violence were reported in Wales last year.
- Monmouthshire families face a severe shortage of childcare services, especially for those who are escaping domestic violence, financial hardship, or personal crises.

Your support helps us offer more than just childcare – it offers hope and a chance for a better future.

Together, We Can Make a Difference!

By supporting the Pay It Forward Fund, you’ll help families in crisis access the childcare they so desperately need. With your help, we can provide more safe, affordable spaces for children, so parents can focus on moving forward in their lives.

πŸ‘‰ Donate today to support our campaign and help provide essential childcare for everyone in need.
